Engine & Ladder First Due in Dwelling Fire

A busy night in Blackwood: Starting just after 8pm Taskforce 84 was alerted to a dwelling fire in the Chestnut Glenn section of Gloucester Twp. Tower 84 (Capt. Coucoules) arrived as the first due ladder company and conducted the investigation. Engine 842 (Lt.Lemmerman) arrived as the first due engine and layed a supply line. Ladder 84s Outside Vent Firefighter located smoke showing from the rear and crews went to work. Interior crews found a malfunctioning attic fan and extinguished a small fire. The assignment was held to Station 84 and Squad 86.
