Central Ave. The event will be held from 9 a.m. until noon and costs $5 for children and $8 for adults. The price includes all you can eat breakfast and pictures with Santa. 29th Annual Blackwood Fire Company Christmas Parade
In the spirit of the season, we invite you to join us for a magical night on Saturday, Dec. 2 starting at 6 p.m. as the Blackwood Fire Company presents “Christmas Around the World.” The parade will begin at the intersection of Black Horse Pike and Davistown Road, then proceed north to Blackwood Fire Company where there will be hot chocolate, cookies and photos with Santa. Halloween Coach Bag Bingo
The Blackwood Fire Company Auxiliary will be hosting a designer Coach bag bingo Saturday October 21st at the Berlin Community Center located at 250 S. Franklin Ave in Berlin from 7pm to 10pm. Please email majicmom@comcast.net with any questions.
Playground dedication and movie night at State St Park October 14th
The playground equipment at the State Street Park will be officially dedicated to Nico Cassabria on October 14th. Followed by movie night in the park. All are welcome to attend. Anyone who attends are asked to bring one non-perishable item for the Unforgotten Haven.
Rescue 84 special called to fatal crash in 85's local
On Sunday afternoon, Stations 85 and 86, GTEMS and Medics were dispatched to Sicklerville Road for a reported crash with entrapment. Initial reports indicated up to four people trapped and Rescue 84 was added to the assignment. Rescue 84 responded with five personnel and worked with units from Stations 86 and 85 to extricate patients, while Engine 842 handled a helicopter landing zone. Unfortunately, four victims from the crash succumbed to their injuries.

Engine 841 operates at working fire in Station 86's district
Around 3:30 a.m. Friday, Station 84 was dispatched as part of a box assignment to Station 86's local for a reported house fire. First-arriving companies reported a well-involved townhouse fire and led off with heavy water lines to knock back the fire. All hands apartment fire in 84's local
On Thursday evening, Station 84 and mutual aid companies were dispatched to the Cherrywood Apartments for a reported apartment fire. 8401 (Chief Cipriano) arrived to find a two-story garden-style apartment building with smoke showing from the second floor and struck the all hands box. Engines 841 and 842 arrived simultaneously, established a water supply and stretched hose lines to the second floor. The fire was quickly extinguished and placed under control.

Blackwood Fire Company teaming up with Nico's Army to keep his fight going
8 weeks ago we said goodbye to our Honorary Member Nico Cassabria, today we are proud to announce we are teaming up with Nico's Army and the Cassabria family to keep his fight going! We will be selling these t-shirts at our the Pumpkin Festival, Christmas parade and of course St. Baldricks in April which we hope will be even bigger then last year! The Unforgotten Haven Hurricane Relief
Blackwood Fire Company is teaming up with the Unforgotten Haven to collect donations for the Hurricane Relief Mission Trip, all donations will be taken by the Unforgotten Haven located at 100 S. Black Horse Pike in downtown Blackwood. We will also have a collection point during the Pumpkin Festival on Sunday October 1st at the corner of Elm ave and Lake ave in our rear parking lot.
